Redeye AI Report can be found here (48 pages) >>

Artificial Intelligence (AI) has been around for some 60+ years. However, in the last couple of years, the access to large amounts of data (big data), faster computers and implementation of advanced machine learning techniques, has made it possible for AI to really solve many problems throughout the economy and thereby affecting many sectors. MarketsandMarkets estimates that the AI-market is expected to grow from USD 21 billion in 2018 to USD 191 billion by 2025, at a CAGR of 37%.

Even though the market is growing very rapidly, there are several risks. Many early AI-pilots have failed, there are limited number of AI technology experts available and we have also lately seen many discussions around ethical issues and Artificial general intelligence (strong AI). The term Artificial Intelligence is both broad and ambiguous and there are various definitions of what it actually means. We at Redeye have invited nine speakers/companies from different areas that will share how their business is affected and what sort of trends they see in the coming years.

Redeye will start to give a very short overview of trends/valuation/estimates in AI before Anders Arpteg from one of the hottest AI-companies, Peltarion, gives a more comprehensive introduction to the subject. Fredrik Heintz, ass. professor LiU will present The Wallenberg Artificial Intelligence, Autonomous Systems and Software Program (WASP), an investment of SEK 5.5 billion during the 14 years of the program. After that, two exciting unlisted companies Imagimob and Captario will present their businesses followed by a panel discussion.

After a short break, EQT will talk about Motherbrain. This is a platform-wide initiative leveraging data and machine learning for recommendations on new deals, add-on acquisitions, market analysis and industry trends.

The final block will include presentations from five leading listed companies in AI:
Ericsson, Mycronic, Optomed, SciBase and Artificial Solutions. This is concluded with two short panel discussions with the listed companies.

Our ambition with this seminar is that you as an investor will gain more knowledge about “AI” and what sort of companies that are affected and may have an interesting market outlook in the years to come.

This is an invitation only event for institutional investors and the press. If you belong to the target group, please contact Heléne Bergau, helene.bergau@redeye.se
