Urbanista, a subsidiary of STRAX, celebrated a triumphant showcase at the IFA 2023 trade show in Berlin, where its recently launched product, the Urbanista Malibu solar charging speaker, bagged 17 media awards. Among these awards were prestigious titles including Trusted Reviews Best in Show, TechRadar Best of IFA, and Gadgety Awards Best of IFA.

The Malibu speaker, developed in collaboration with Swedish innovation company Exeger, is powered by the innovative Powerfoyle™ solar cell technology, allowing it to harness energy from any form of light. This launch follows Urbanista's prior successful introductions of solar-powered audio products, such as the Los Angeles headphones in 2021 and the Phoenix earphones in 2022. The Malibu speaker solidifies Urbanista's offerings in the solar-powered audio segment.
